We manufacture heavy-duty bar grating in carbon steel, stainless steel, and even special alloys upon request. All gratings are made to customer’s specs and various finishes. We comply with industry conventions in naming the various grating products. Our gratings are welded and, therefore, all carry a W designation in standard NAAMM nomenclature.
We can manufacture based on our customer's needs. We have common applications customers typically utilize heavy duty grates and frames for. These include bike grates, standard grates more suitable for roadways, and ADA compliant grating.
Bike grates are commonly used in areas where there are pedesterians. You'll find them on walkways, curbs, or resident streets as a safe and easily traversed terrain for cyclists. When produced by Morgan's Welding, all bike grating is DOT compliant making it a reliable source of American-made grating.
Our experters have crafted standard grating that is best utilized on state routes and highways. Our standard grates are even bike safe and state DOT compliant making them a versatile option when planning for steel infrastructure updates.
Heavy Duty Bar Grates are essential components in managing traffic patterns and water diversion applications. These grates are designed to handle lighter loads, making them ideal for use in areas where vehicles pass through less frequently, such as on sidewalks, residential areas, or lightly traveled roadways. In traffic patterns, they help ensure the smooth flow of vehicles by providing stable and durable surfaces where needed.
Additionally, they play a crucial role in water diversion by efficiently channeling rainwater and surface runoff away from roads and infrastructure, preventing flooding and maintaining safe travel conditions. Bar Grates are also utilized in non-pedestrian applications, such as in industrial settings or private properties.
Our Heavy Duty Frames pair with heavy duty grates to support the site's infrastructure. Our heavy duty frames come in standard sizes of 3ft, 4ft, and 6ft with 8in M or C alternate frames that are typically 4ft or 6ft. Morgan's also has the capability to produce full buttom Trench frames when required.
We offer custom solutions tailored to your unique needs, including ADA compliant grating based on the guidelines from the Americans with Disability Act. As a law, ADA compliant grating must have bars no farther apart than 1/2 inch to make it easily traversable for wheel chairs and other disability aids. Morgan's Welding offers various size ranges for ADA compliant grating including 2ft, 4ft, and 6ft, but can manufature custom sized grates to order.
Don’t hesitate. Take the next step to work with Morgan’s Welding to build your custom grate and frame solution.
