Our process is simple. To start, customers will reach out with specifics about the grate and/or frame they are looking for and in most cases, a brief overview of where or what the grate will be used for. The customer then provides dimensions along with any specific details about what they are looking to have manufactured such as material size, grate height, load rating (i.e. traffic or non-traffic rated), and sometimes provide detailed drawings with all the above stated information on it. Then the amount of material to be used along with time/labor involved is calculated into a quote and sent back to the customer with a general lead time of completion.
Some factors can affect the timeline of completion. The finish in which the customer wishes to have on the product or other services we may need to outsource (i.e. laser cutting or machining) which ultimately prolongs the completion time of their product. Generally speaking, customers will have their quote returned to them within the same or next available business day. From there, we wait for customer approval to start the manufacturing process.
